Digital artist known as Jie has demonstrated the work of Blender's Viewport Gizmos on their flower generator.
Gizmos allow mouse-controlled translation, rotation, and scaling in the 3D Viewport, as Blender defines them, and you can see how Jie can make a flower more detailed, open, or closed with this feature.
"Gizmo is a bit of headache to set up but it's so freeing not having to tweak random values," the artist said.

Jie is a master of Geometry Nodes, as you can see from their forget-me-not generator, pretty sunlit flowers, gorgeous teardrop shader, and a Hellyfish model resembling the Eye of Cthulhu from Terraria.
