Make Your Modeling in Blender Easier with This Useful Toolset
Artist Leôn brings Maya, 3ds Max, and Hammer Editor closer to Blender.
Blender is full of great tools, but sometimes, they are not enough, and that's when talented artists emerge to offer their solutions. One of them is known as Leôn, or _3Leon, who presented Leon's Modeling Toolkit, a set of add-ons inspired by Maya, 3ds Max, and Hammer Editor.

The tool provides a variety of features to make your workflows easier and faster: world-aligned texturing, Hammer Editor–style texturing and clip tool, better origin snapping, arch tools, shape drawing (plane, cubes, stairs), a better mirror system, Maya-style vertex merging, cable generator, circle scattering, and more.

Here's an overview of some of them.
- The Arch tool converts a selected edge into an arch by subdividing it and pushing the new vertices into an arc shape.
- Draw Shape allows you to place objects directly onto a configurable plane in the viewport.
- The Clip tool draws a cut line across a mesh to bisect or split it.
- Panel Maker takes two selected objects – a base mesh and a cutter shape – and generates a panel strip with beveled, inflated edges, similar to sci-fi paneling or surface detail strips.
- The non-destructive Mirror tool has a live preview plane that shows exactly where the mirror will occur.
- Cable Generator generates realistic catenary (drooping) cables between clicked viewport points or chained through selected objects.
- The Merge tool offers a Maya-style drag-to-merge feature for vertices and edges.

Leon's Modeling Toolkit is compatible with Blender 4.5 and 5.0, with other versions untested.
