MarIOnette: A Free Blender Plug-in For Controlling Real-Life Robots

The add-on currently supports servo motors, PWM, solenoids, dynamixels, and LEDs.

Developer and Engineer Niko Vladimirov, a.k.a. knee-koh, has released MarIOnette, a mind-blowing add-on for Blender that enables you to control real-life robots and animatronics directly from the software.

Supporting Blender 3.2 or higher, the plug-in can be used for controlling Arduino-based microcontrollers and has been tested on most AVR-Based Arduino-compatible microcontrollers, with ARM-Based microcontrollers also being supported. According to the project's description, the add-on currently supports servo motors, PWM, solenoids, and dynamixels actuators, as well as LEDs, with the developer planning to add support for more actuators and new features further down the line.

Additionally, knee-koh shared a comprehensive tutorial, explaining how the plug-in works and how it can be used to set up a drawing robot:
