Medicalholodeck: Medical VR Platform for 3D Surgical Planning

Recently, we keep seeing more and more companies working on new software for medical purposes. Here is another one: Medicalholodeck is a suite of VR apps used for 3D surgical planning in and outside the operating room and medical education in teams.

There are 3 tools right now: Medical Imaging XR, Dissection Master XR, and Anatomy Master XR. 

Medical Imaging XR allows the processing of 3D Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) data in VR. It's used in hospitals for 3D surgical planning, in radiology for case reports and team discussions, and in medical education for surgery training.

Dissection Master XR is the dissection and anatomy lab that uses high-resolution human dissections created for anatomy teaching. The entire human body has been carefully dissected and digitized in up to 10 high-resolution layers for the app. It is suitable for teaching in classes in VR and for independent preparation of courses and exams. 

Anatomy Master XR is the human anatomy lab. The tool provides professional 3D anatomy models of the human body. The complete female and male bodies consist of over 2000 carefully modeled, textured, and labeled structures.
