Meet Leon in New Resident Evil Requiem Showcase

To fan the fire of fans' excitement before the release of Resident Evil Requiem, Capcom released a video showcase, demonstrating what they should be ready for.

We already know that everyone's favorite Leon Kennedy joins Grace Ashcroft in this installment, and you can see him in action here, a little rougher and older than what we're used to.

The developers promise an experience "with an emotional range unlike any other Resident Evil title." Some zombies in Requiem retain their characteristics from when they were alive, making them more nuanced and interesting.

Leon's gameplay is more about guns and chopping the undead left and right, while Grace has to move stealthily with limited ammo. But don't worry: you'll get to kill enemies in any case, as crafting requires blood.

Whether you prefer Resident Evil with its iconic over-the-shoulder camera or the modern first-person, you can have both, just choose what you like.

Resident Evil Requiem will launch on February 27, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, and Epic Games Store. Moreover, it will be available through NVIDIA's GeForce Now subscription.
