Resident Evil Requiem Will Feature Leon Kennedy As Secondary Protagonist
He will join Grace Ashcroft in the investigation in Raccoon City.
The Game Awards brought a lot of news, and one of them is the new details about the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem, with Leon Kennedy revealed as the secondary protagonist, after a lot of unconfirmed information about his participation in the sequel surfaced online.
Resident Evil Requiem received a new trailer, sharing a glimpse of the intense experience offered by the new installment of the survival horror franchise. Leon S. Kennedy will join the main protagonist, FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft, in exploring Raccoon City, which Leon is quite familiar with, and investigating mysterious deaths there.
According to the trailer, in the ninth game in the series, ex-Raccoon City police officer will be involved in a more action-packed story, while Grace Ashcroft will face a more mysterious, chilling journey.

Before, there were rumors that in Resident Evil 9, Leon would become a protagonist together with Jill Valentine.
Resident Evil Requiem is set to launch on February 27, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, and Epic Games Store.
