Have you ever wanted to know what it looks like to 3D print and assemble a model? DemNikoArt made a little animation to show you.
In this amazing presentation, 3D Artist Nikodem "DemNikoArt" Bredlich revealed the process of assembling Flame Mammoth, a Reploid sapient robot from the Mega Man X video game series.
The model was created using Blender, and the artist also provided a brief overview of the process steps:
- Create a model
- Export as .stl
- Download PrusaSlicer and import the .stl
- Slice the model (0.2 mm layer height turned out pretty good)
- Export as .obj
- Import into Blender
- Use Build modifier and set the frame count to the number of layers
- Hit play
