Mesmerizing 3D Hornet Model to Get You Hyped For Hollow Knight: Silksong's Launch

Guillaume Tiberghien has revisited his incredible animation.

Well, this is it: Hollow Knight: Silksong is mere hours away from release, and I can say with complete confidence that this time tomorrow, the entire internet will be flooded with news articles about the game and incredible fan artworks. Some creators, however, have already started early – like 3D Character Artist Guillaume Tiberghien, who revisited his earlier Silksong-inspired project ahead of the impending launch.

The project in question is an outstanding animated 3D model of Hornet – Silksong's protagonist – featuring smooth cloak movements that mesmerize your mind and, for a brief moment, make you forget about everyday worries. According to its ArtStation page, the piece was created in Blender and is based on a 2D illustration by Cassio Yoshiyaki.

If you're certain you've seen that model before, you're absolutely right, as this very same version of Hornet was previously used by 3D Animator Arthur Munoz to depict the princess-protector of Hallownest's ruins performing a stylish and dynamic attack combo:
