This isn't an AR clip or an AI-generated video, it's the latest VFX experiment by Jack Bowman, who transformed his laptop into a hangar to launch the iconic Millennium Falcon starship.
The artist began by filming his workspace, then processed the footage through COLMAP, which reconstructed the scene as a point cloud and provided a perfectly tracked camera, allowing Jack to integrate digital elements around his real laptop as if they existed in the physical space.
