Mobile Studio Spoilz Games Raised $693,000 in Pre-Seed Funding

Saudi-based mobile gaming studio Spoilz Games announced it has raised 2.6 million riyals (approximately $693,000) in a pre-seed funding round. According to the company's LinkedIn post, the capital was raised from angel investors.

With the help of the funding, Spoilz Games intends to further develop and publish high-quality mobile games as well as sustain its efforts to expand to foreign markets. The studio is mainly targeting the MENA region, although it's also hoping to grow and eventually enter the global market.

Spoilz Games was founded in 2020 and since then it has released three mobile games: Jet Warrior, Re-Train, and Smack Sack, two of which (Jet Warrior and Smack Sack) are available on the App Store and Google Play.

"MENA's gaming industry is expected to grow rapidly in the next few months, creating a need for quality content to meet users' expectations," founder and CEO Musab Almalki said. "This fund will enable us to grow and publish games that compete globally."
