It also became the biggest third-party Xbox Game Pass launch ever.
Palworld, developed by Pocketpair, has achieved a remarkable milestone of hitting 19 million players in less than two weeks after its release.
This multiplayer survival game has sold over 12 million copies on Steam and garnered 7 million players on Xbox Game Pass. While the developers didn't specify the sales breakdown between purchases and Xbox Game Pass subscriptions, Palworld became the largest third-party release on Game Pass, as announced by Microsoft.
On Xbox, Palworld reached a peak of 3 million daily players, making it the most popular game on the platform during that time.
"Across console and Windows PC, Palworld has welcomed more than 7 million players, and has recently reached a peak of nearly 3 million daily active users on Xbox, making it the most-played game on our platforms at that time," reads the statement from Microsoft.
