Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord Sales Reached 3 Million Copies

The game has sold more than 3 million copies since its early access release.

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, a strategy action role-playing video game from TaleWorlds Entertainment, has sold over 3 million copies since its early access release, the studio's co-founder Armağan Yavuz's revealed in an interview with the YouTube channel Disket Kutusu.

Yavuz noted that the modding community was really important for the studio, and a number of specialists known for Mount & Blade mods have been eventually recruited into the TaleWorlds Entertainment team over the years.

The developer also talked about the current development progress of Mount & Blade II: Banner Lordconsole version saying that the creators of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord are currently busy with console ports of the game. However, as developers previously mentioned, these versions will be released only after the game will get a full release on PC.

The game was launched in Early Access in March 2020, and a full-fledged release was initially supposed to take place at the end of 2021, although the studio's plans apparently have changed. 

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a prequel to Mount & Blade: Warband, a stand-alone expansion for the original 2008's game Mount & Blade. It is currently available in Early Access for Microsoft Windows.
