Movie Script Outline Generated With ChatGPT

Guy Parsons demonstrated how OpenAI's latest model could be used for screenwriting.

In case you missed the news, last week, OpenAI presented ChatGPT, a new AI model capable of interacting in a conversational way, answering follow-up questions, and providing detailed responses to the input prompts. To no one's surprise, it didn't take long for Generative Artists to start experimenting with the new model, testing out its capabilities and looking for its potential uses.

One such artist is the renowned AI enthusiast Guy Parsons, who utilized ChatGPT to generate an outline of an entire movie script, complete with the description of the movie's plot, detailed character descriptions, key locations, the movie's title and tagline, and more.

Additionally, the creator utilized Midjourney v4 to imagine the movie's characters:

And here's a movie review ChatGPT generated using the "write a negative film critic's review of 'Oil and Darkness', a horror movie set on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico, with main protagonists Jack & Rachel, and the antagonist, a businessman called Ryan.
