SunnyChowTheGuy shares the unique setting of Song of Morus: Limbo Express.
Solo Game Developer SunnyChowTheGuy has presented an intriguing clip to showcase the mind-bending world of their WIP project.
Song of Morus: Limbo Express is what the project is called, and it is a third-person shooter set in an underworld, featuring Young Taoist priestess Song, who is tasked with helping the deity of Death to escort his underworld train.
The game allows you to walk on the different faces of a fast-running train, regardless of the gravity rule or any real-world physics, while shooting at the enemies. Below, you can watch its Game Prototype Trailer:
According to the developer, the character in the trailer wearing black is Hei Wuchang, "a deity in charge of escorting the spirits of the dead to the underworld."
Some of the footage shared earlier includes the enemy combat that takes place in the scene, where a bullet hell SHMUP becomes more of a beat 'em up with these melee fights:
Currently, the developer has finished three levels for the project, which can be downloaded and played via Itch.io.
And speaking of the future plan, they'd love to bring six levels, with probably an alternative character to select. After that, if the result is great, the six-level version will become a free demo, and they will also consider upscaling it to a full project.
