Player First Games announces it will close MultiVersus Open Beta on June 25. The game featuring characters from Warner Bros. franchises should come back in early 2024.
"As part of this process, we’ll be pausing updates and taking the game offline as we prepare for the launch of MultiVersus."
The developers will take this time to improve the game, add new characters, maps and modes, bring updated netcode and more matchmaking improvements, and rework the progression system.
During this downtime, all online modes and features will be unavailable, and the players will have limited offline access to the training room and local matches. The progress and content will carry over to the new MultiVersus next year, "with a variety of new content, features and modes."
