The CEO noted that the publisher has 48 new games in store, which they plan to release over the next three years.
Over the past few days, Take-Two Interactive shared a slew of announcements regarding their current roadmap and plans for the future, including the reveal of the company's financial results, which provided an update on the sales of Grand Theft Auto V, Red Dead Redemption 2, and other titles, the goal to generate $8 billion in FY2025 through the release of "several groundbreaking titles", and more.
Continuing to share a look at what's ahead for Take-Two, the company's CEO Strauss Zelnick provided further details about the company's future plans during an earnings call Q&A session. Sharing his forecasts for the future, Zelnick revealed that the publisher has an impressive total of 48 new games in the pipeline. In the current fiscal year, they aim to release 12 titles, followed by an additional 36 games in the subsequent two years.
Zelnick also emphasized that at least 44% of these games will be entirely new intellectual property, with the remainder consisting of fresh installments in existing franchises.
"The rest is new iterations of existing franchises, and that's mobile, console, PC and numerous business models," Zelnick stated. "We couldn't be more excited. Fiscal 24 titles look good, and as I said, we're very confident in the years to come as well. And we thought it was important to convey that with transparency today."
