Nerfstudio: a Simple Library for Creating NeRFs

Making 3D scenes from images has never been easier.

If you look at NVIDIA's Instant NeRF and wonder how you can make your own, Nerfstudio is here to help. The library allows you to create, train, and test NeRFs, as well as watch them in a real-time web viewer.

Nerfstudio supports a more interpretable implementation of NeRFs by modularizing each component. With more modular NeRFs, the creators hope to make a more user-friendly experience in exploring the technology.

Nerfstudio is contributor-friendly and aims to create a community where users can more easily build upon each other's contributions.

Nerfstudio supports the following methods:

  • Nerfacto: our de facto NeRF method combines modules focused on quality with modules focused on faster rendering. Nerfstudio easily lets us experiment with the best of both worlds!
  • NeRF: Representing Scenes as Neural Radiance Fields for View Synthesis
  • Instant NGP: Instant Neural Graphics Primitives with a Multiresolution Hash Encoding
  • Mipnerf: A Multiscale Representation for Anti-Aliasing Neural Radiance Fields
  • NerfW: Neural Radiance Fields for Unconstrained Photo Collections
  • Semantic NeRF: In-Place Scene Labelling and Understanding with Implicit Scene Representation
