Netflix's Cowboy Bebop Gets an Official Trailer

Get ready, space cowboys.

Netflix's Cowboy Bebop has finally got an official trailer, with less than a month to go until the show's release date on November 19, 2021. The trailer shows the original trio of Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda), and Ein, missing Ed for some reason, traveling around space and hunting criminals to get bounties and running away from the past, much like in the original anime series. In terms of music, the trailer features the original opening from the anime composed by Yoko Kanno.

Through the series of fragments, we might assume that the adaptation will be close to the source material, featuring the Teddy Bomber, Mad Pierrot, and even the iconic Vicious vs Spike church scene, but it is too early to say for sure.

So, what do you think? Will it be a decent adaptation that respects the source material or will it be Death Note all over again? Is Netflix going to have to carry the weight of another bad anime adaptation? Leave your thoughts down in the comments below.
