New Blood's Fallout-Inspired RPG Gets a New Teaser Trailer

The game will feature first-person combat, Fallout-style dialogues, and Alexander Berezin's art.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the legendary Fallout series, Dave Oshry, Studio Head at New Blood, released a new teaser trailer for the studio's upcoming RPG heavily inspired by Interplay's classic isometric Fallout games. First teased back in June, the game still has not been officially revealed yet, with only small demos having been released by the studio. What is known, however, is that the upcoming RPG will feature Mark Morgan's music and has the renowned Fallout artist Alexander Berezin on the team, who will provide the visuals.

The new teaser trailer shares a glimpse at the project's gameplay, showcasing the UI, extremely similar to Fallout 1 and 2's UI, the dialogue system, with various options that would lead to different outcomes, and the game's combat system, that combines turn-based combat with the first-person view.

"Surely the biggest complaint about classic Fallout games has always been the slow n' clunky nature of the turn-based combat, commented Dave. "While we're still keeping things turn-based, by switching up the style and perspective more akin to classic dungeon crawlers, we find it much more engaging."
