New Evidence Suggests Returnal Could Be Coming to PC

A GDC video shows options that are not available on PS5.

Rumors of third-person shooter roguelike Returnal coming to PC have been around for some times now, with various details supporting the claims. As Digital Foundry's Alex Battaglia noticed, in a GDC talk on the game's VFX, Housemarque showed some shots from Returnal running on a PC, with a debug readout mentioning dynamic resolution, a feature not available in the PS5 version of the game.

Previously, such evidence was found on SteamBD, where a game codenamed Oregon has suspiciously similar tags and references to its Tower of Sisyphus DLC, Selene's ship Helios, and the alien planet of Atropos.

Later, some screenshots showing the game menu were leaked.

Returnal on PC wouldn't be such a surprise as Sony is planning to get more value from its PC games in the following years. The title would join God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn and Spider-Man Remastered.
