New Initiative Supports Emerging Game Developers

Xsolla and HP have partnered to create a practical program that connects game development education with mentorship, tools, and structured preparation for studio formation.

Xsolla, a global video game commerce company that works with developers to launch and monetize their games, has announced a new strategic relationship with HP aimed at connecting education, technology, and entrepreneurship across the international games industry.

The collaboration brings together HP's Gaming Garage learning platform and the Xsolla Accelerator to create a full pipeline for aspiring creators, giving them opportunities to learn, build projects, and eventually establish their own studios. The companies describe the effort as a way to expand access to game development education and professional pathways at a larger scale.

The first pilot programs will roll out in Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, and the United Arab Emirates, with plans to reach more than 100,000 students and young creators globally. The partnership focuses on combining HP's certificate courses in game design, esports management, programming, generative AI, and cybersecurity with Xsolla's hands-on mentorship, publishing support, and business training. Participants will also gain access to Xsolla's accelerator ecosystem, including mentorship, funding opportunities, and investor-readiness programs.

"Together with HP, we're building more than an alliance; we're creating a foundation for the next generation of developers. From education to incubation to investment, this union connects every stage of a developer's journey and brings new opportunities to creators in every corner of the world."

Justin Berenbaum, SVP, Global Industry Relations & Funding at Xsolla

"Teaming up with Xsolla allows us to fulfill our shared goal of shaping the future gaming ecosystem by providing accessible and impactful learning opportunities. By assimilating HP's Gaming Garage learning platform with Xsolla's Accelerator and Curine Academy programs, we will deliver a comprehensive pathway for aspiring developers and provide essential resources to prepare them to be future-ready and transform their ideas into real-world achievements."

Mayank Dhingra, Director and Global Head Education Business and Strategy, HP

Both companies say they plan to explore additional global hubs and educational initiatives that encourage collaboration among industry professionals, educators, and new creators. HP's Gaming Garage resources will also be made available across Xsolla's learning networks at no cost.

"This collaboration with HP represents a powerful step forward in building the global infrastructure that empowers game creators. By connecting education, technology, and investment, we're helping to nurture the next generation of talent and accelerate the creation of sustainable studios and innovative projects around the world. Together, we're ensuring that great ideas, no matter where they originate, have the opportunity to thrive."
