It allows you to tweak SBSARs directly in Unreal Engine and now supports UE5.
Considering Substance 3D and Unreal Engine are two of the most popular DCC software, Adobe and Epic Games' partnership was probably inevitable and certainly fruitful. Meet a new Substance 3D plug-in for Unreal Engine, written "from the ground up" that now supports the latest Unreal Engine 5.
The plug-in enables you to load, apply, and tweak Substance materials directly in Unreal Engine to achieve a variety of looks. Substance parameters allow for real-time material changes and texture updates.
Substance 3D Asset library opens the access to thousands of high-quality tweakable and export-ready 4K materials with presets, accessible directly in Unreal through the Substance plug-in. Meanwhile, the community assets library provides a multitude of community-contributed assets.
You can also update Substance materials at runtime with an extensive Blueprint API.
