Next-Gen Version of The Witcher 3 Gets a New Trailer

The update is coming on December 14 to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

CD Projekt Red has released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming next-gen update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The new trailer shares a look at the graphical updates the new version received and shows the familiar events and locations from the game with drastically improved visuals. In case you missed it, the upgraded version is scheduled to be released on December 14 and will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

What's more, the developers have also shared a comprehensive overview of the improvements the game will receive:

  • Enhanced graphics, including ray tracing, improved Screen Space Reflections, improved foliage, and better textures.
  • DLSS 3 support
  • An alternative camera option, a Quick Sign Casting option, map filtering, and the option to dynamically hide the minimap.
  • Photo mode.
  • Quest fixes.
  • A new quest inspired by Netflix's Witcher series.
  • The ability to carry over your latest save between platforms.
  • And more!

The pack includes sky photos for photobashing and matte painting (250 photos, variety of weather, up to 6000x4000px).

    I wouldn't call Witcher 3 next-gen, gfx wise it honestly looks like a 10 year old game.
