Nissan's New Car Concept Gives Off Cyberpunk 2077 Vibes

Nissan Hyper Force was created together with Gran Turismo makers.

When you think about futuristic cars, you probably imagine something like Nissan Hyper Force, the company's new concept "designed for racing enthusiasts and gamers who crave the adrenaline rush of the racetrack but are also eco-conscious."

No, it can't fly, but this is definitely something you expect to see in games like Cyberpunk 2077 – all sharp angles and sleek surfaces.

Presented at Japan Mobility Show, Nissan Hyper Force is a fruit of collaboration with Polyphony Digital, the developers of the Gran Turismo series. It's an all-electric high-performance supercar with a "high-output all-electric powertrain and an optimal-weight-balancing, all-solid-state battery" at its core, which can produce output up to 1,000 kW.

Nissan promises high aerodynamic performance, strong downforce, high cooling performance, great airflow, and unique active aero functionality.

The concept shows two driving modes: R (racing) and GT (grand touring), with the graphical user interface changing color and display according to the mode.

"In R mode the cabin illuminates in red and creates an intuitive cockpit centered around the driver to support concentration. Panels on the dashboard extend toward the seating space to enhance the cockpit feel around the driver. ... In GT mode, the cabin illuminates in blue and the screens surrounding the steering wheel move away and combine together, providing an immersive experience with a simpler infotainment interface, including air conditioning, audio, suspension and stabilizer settings, for a comfortable drive."

The car ensures a high level of safety thanks to advanced autonomous drive with hyper LIDAR and sensors tuned for sports driving. And if you can't get enough of this stylish vehicle, it has a special helmet so you can enjoy racing in VR and AR when you're not driving in reality.
