If you enjoyed playing PlayStation games on PC, we have sad news for you: Sony is going back to console exclusivity, and Ghost of Yotei will not launch on PC.
According to Bloomberg, Sony has changed its strategy and is returning to the world of exclusives. Online games like Marathon and Marvel Tokon will be released across multiple platforms, but single-players such as Ghost of Yotei and the upcoming Saros will remain on PlayStation 5, said people familiar with the company’s plans.
Death Stranding 2 and Kena: Scars of Kosmora, published by PlayStation, will still be available on PC, but Sony-developed games are lost to PC users. This, of course, can change, but for now, Xbox is the only one pursuing the multi-platform idea.
Bloomberg suspects that there could be a couple of reasons behind the decision: poor sales on PC, possible damage to the console's brand, or the next Xbox allegedly using Windows and being capable of running PC games, including PlayStation's.
