Rahul Parihar has previewed a new shader set to be introduced in Komikaze 2.1.
Shader Artist and Blender enthusiast Rahul Parihar, also known as DoubleGum, has recently shared a short demo previewing a fantastic new Blender-powered shader set to be introduced in the upcoming 2.1 update for Komikaze.
For those unaware, Komikaze is Rahul's extensive compilation comprising shaders, materials, effects, demos, and various assets tailored specifically to meet the needs of comic and toon art. It is designed to generate stylized non-photorealistic renders and seamlessly integrates with Blender EEVEE, ensuring optimal real-time rendering performance.
Based on the artist's latest demo, the upcoming version of the toolset will incorporate a remarkable shader inspired by classic Disney cartoons from the late 1920s and 1930s. To provide a clearer illustration of the shader, the creator also utilized a Steamboat Willie 3D animation created by Adrian Cojocaru.

Last month Rahul also shipped Komikaze 2, a massive update to the toolset that added over 150 new shaders and modifiers. You can learn more and try out the toolset by clicking this link.
