Parent company Oppo is planning a restructuring.

OnePlus will stop operations in the US and Europe, and Realme will leave the Chinese market, according to a report.
As reported by Bloomberg, the changes will come into force this week, according to a source familiar with the matter. The shift is a part of a larger restructuring of the parent company Oppo.
Another branch of Oppo's mobile business, Realme, will leave the Chinese market. OnePlus will continue operating in China, but the brand's global shutdown, including in India, is expected to roll out to the rest of the world sometime in 2027.
Oppo will focus more on Central Europe and selling Realme in the Nordic region, comprising Finland, Denmark, Sweden and Iceland, which is considered to be more successful for the company.
OnePlus was once popular among Android fans, but it's lost a lot of ground in the smartphone market, now falling behind Apple, Samsung, Motorola, and Google. Oppo is doing better in China, though rising costs have slowed phone sales there too, with shipments down 4.3% in Q2, according to IDC.
