The head of OpenAI Sam Altman will visit 16 cities across five continents to meet with users of the company's products as well as developers and people interested in AI.
In May and June of 2023, Sam Altman, the CEO of ChatGPT and DALL-E creator OpenAI, is setting off on a global tour to engage with OpenAI users, developers, and individuals who have an interest in artificial intelligence.
Altman shared the news on Twitter inviting people to join him in discussing their feedback, feature requests, and other insights related to AI.
During his world tour, Altman is scheduled to visit 16 cities across five continents, including Toronto, Washington DC, Rio de Janeiro, Lagos, Madrid, Brussels, Munich, London, Paris, Tel Aviv, Dubai, New Delhi, Singapore, Jakarta, Seoul, and Tokyo.
In addition to meeting with OpenAI users and developers, Altman plans to give talks in some of these cities and hopes to engage with policymakers.
The OpenAI head has shared a form that those who are interested in interacting with Altman can complete. The form requests basic information such as the person's name, email address, and the reason for their desire to meet with Altman. Additionally, individuals who have the capacity to organize a gathering of 500 or more people can also specify this on the form.
