Over 30 Million People Have Played Far Cry 5

A new milestone to celebrate the game's anniversary.

Ubisoft announced that Far Cry 5 reached a new milestone: over 30 million people have played it since its release five years ago. The company thanked the fans, saying: "We're glad you're enjoying the #FarCry5Anniversary celebration and the new 60 FPS patch on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S."

"Welcome to Hope County, Montana, the land of the free and brave, but also the home of a fanatical doomsday cult. Stand up to cult leader Joseph Seed and his siblings, the Heralds, to spark the fires of resistance and liberate the besieged community."

Far Cry 5 was released on March 27, 2018, and has been received well. It is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S.
