Overcome Festival Invites Global Game Publishers, Developers, and Filmmakers

This October, the Overcome Game Awards and Film Festival, the digital and worldwide award of the best video games, game music, and films, returns for another year to showcase the world's best across industries. It’s the 6th year for Overcome Film Festival (an official IMDB event).

During the festival week, live and free across all platforms, game and film fans will gather to find cutting-edge games and films from developers, publishers, and filmmakers from around the world. It's the international event for all storytellers, filmmakers, and artists to tell the world their stories of survival and triumph over adversity. The official program includes Features and Short films, Music, and Games in multiple award categories. 

About Overcome Game Awards and the Overcome Film Festival 

The Overcome Game Awards and the Overcome Film Festival celebrates excellence in game, film, and music, featuring cutting edge video games from the world’s top game developers and platforms. Last year’s Overcome Game Awards and Film Festival featured the winning debut of Darq as game of the year, as well as featuring many Oscar, BAFTA, and Cannes winners and participants such as Oscar Isaac, Alia Shawkat, director Yorgos Lanthimos, Matt Dillon, and Franco Nero. The festival is hosted by Modifier Group, which also hosts the Chainsaw Game and Music Festival (CGMF).
