Three out of the four new pals are easily identifiable. As for the last one, you decide.
During the ID@Xbox showcase of yesterday, Pocketpair teased the arrival of four new Pals for the popular game Palworld. These new additions are scheduled to feature in an upcoming summer update for 2024.
In this brief teaser trailer, Pocketpair offers a glimpse of the new Pals and an Eastern-influenced island, replete with blooming cherry blossoms and traditional Japanese buildings.

The teaser reveals four unique Pals whose names are not unveiled, so here we go: a remarkably rotund frog in a traditional Japanese outfit wielding a stick, what seems to be an ostrich or a turkey wearing a Native American hat laying bombs rather than eggs, a dinosaur with a mushroom-topped head and tail, and a creature that could either be a fox, a hare, or a squirrel depending on who you ask.
In addition, the trailer features a player using a flamethrower and high-tech rifles, which could potentially be new weaponry in the update.

While a specific release date is yet to be announced, the company previously shared that it plans to introduce a PvP mode Pal Arena later this year, as part of its commitment to enhancing the gameplay experience. As the tasks on their roadmap are being progressively accomplished, we can look forward to a thrilling summer update.
