Take a look at Paper Cut Mansion – an upcoming papercraft rogue-lite adventure set in a mysterious and creepy mansion.
You will play as Toby, a police detective trying to unveil the secrets of the bizarre place. Solve puzzles, battle enemies, and complete quests as you unlock new abilities to help you on each run and give you the opportunity to collect another piece of evidence.
The developer Space Lizard Studio promises high replayability, unique AI for each enemy type, customizable equipment, and beautiful hand-crafted visuals.
"Run by run, Paper Cut Mansion will offer you the opportunity of defining your playstyle as you unlock new abilities and discover new equipment that will give you a better chance of overcoming the challenges each procedurally generated run throws at you."
You can lay down traps and turrets in the ever-shifting procedural rooms or even get a drone that can fight for you. Completing quests grants you temporary perks, making each run unlike any other. Each floor contains portals leading to alternate versions of the same location with their own aesthetics and gameplay, like the Reptilian Complex or the Limbic System Dimension.
Solve the mysteries of the mansion, make the right (or wrong) decisions, and unlock all 27 endings.
