Photorealistic 3D Take on Keanu Reeves

Character Artist BLU1304 has showcased an impressive new model made with ZBrush, Houdini, XGen, and Pixar's Renderman.

3D Character and LookDev Artist Natallia "BLU1304" Sudas, widely known for creating highly-realistic character models, has recently shared a new collection of renders and behind-the-scenes shots showcasing a marvelous 3D recreation of the legendary actor Keanu Reeves.

First showcased a couple of months ago, the project was designed to practice grooming techniques and workflows in Houdini. To recreate the actor, Natallia utilized ZBrush for sculpting, TexturingXYZ's materials for texturing, and Pixar's RenderMan for rendering, with Houdini and XGen having been used for grooming Keanu's hair.

Previously, the artist also demonstrated a realistic 3D recreation of True Detective's Rust Cohle, a realistic portrait of young Hermione Granger as portrayed by Emma Watson in the Harry Potter movies, a 3D take on Margot Robbie, and many other gorgeous digital characters. You can check out all of these projects and more by visiting the artist's Instagram and ArtStation pages.

Earlier, Digital Artist Marco Di Lucca and Character Artist Arthur Siraev also shared their 3D recreations of Keanu Reeves, with the former presenting a younger digital version of the actor and the latter unveiling a realistic 3D portrait of John Wick, played by Reeves:
