Photorealistic Human Head Rig Achieved Without Blendshapes in MetaHuman

Ten24 has experimented with the 3D Scan Store-to-MetaHuman pipeline.

Take a look at this incredibly realistic 3D human head rig created by Ten24, the developer behind the renowned asset library 3D Scan Store, using the 3D Scan Store-to-MetaHuman pipeline.

According to the author, the setup uses only a default MetaHuman rig and the library HD head scan and textures without any additional blendshapes. Moreover, the creator utilized an upgraded MetaHuman shader with "a few extra maps" added on top. The author also considers sharing an insightful video breakdown of the project in the near future, planning to explain in more detail how Unreal Engine's toolset for creating photorealistic digital humans can be used in combination with 3D Scan Store's materials to get appealing results.
