The artist utilized an Analog post-processing effect to give the project an old-school look.
Technical Artist Oliver Pavicevic, known for creating an outstanding VR Train scene back in 2020, unveiled yet another scene that can easily be brushed off as a simple video recording. This time, the artist has created a photorealistic post-Soviet train station using Unity and Deckard Render, a tool developed by Oliver that helps simulate physical camera behavior. Additionally, the artist added an impressive Analog post-processing effect, giving the project an old-school VHS-like look.

It seems that creating photoreal train stations is slowly but surely becoming a trend, as only recently 3D Environment Artist Lorenzo Drago unveiled a realistic recreation of the Japanese Etchū-Daimon Station made with real-time VR tracking an Unreal Engine 5.
