If you are a fan of old-school 2D RPGs and brilliant works of H.P. Lovecraft, here's a cool new game that combines both your passions into one unforgettable experience. Meet Cosmic Horror Tales, an upcoming Lovecraft-inspired top-down role-playing game with a pixelated art style developed by an indie creator known as Moss Tower.

Set in a 19th-century-style mining town Innsmouth Arcton, the game puts you in the shoes of Henry, a farmer tasked to find one of his precious chickens that ventured out of its coop at night. Unfortunately for Henry, the chicken ran away into the depths of a dark forest, where the usual inhabitants like cute squirrels and rabbits are replaced by horrors beyond human comprehension.

As you go deeper into the forest, you'll be able to learn more about the town's history and solve puzzles on your way to saving the runaway. Your main challenge, typical of this horror sub-genre, lies in maintaining sanity and avoiding descent into madness amidst the overwhelming terror.

The core gameplay revolves around toggling your flashlight ON and OFF to navigate safely and uncover clues while averting dangers. Additionally, you'll need to carefully manage your resources, as the main character's physical and mental health remain under constant threat.
