Playable Sonic the Hedgehog in Minecraft without Mods

Creator C1OUS3R managed to recreate one iconic game in another.

Minecraft is a sandbox famous for the creative freedom it gives to players, you can build a tiny hut, a huge palace filled with dragons, or even the whole universe. Creator C1OUS3R went a different way and made Sonic the Hedgehog in the game without using mods.

As noticed by Game Rant, C1OUS3R demonstrated the Green Hill Zone location complete with enemies, gold rings, collapsing platforms, and the loop-de-loop.

It took the creator two weeks to complete the level. While they didn't use mods, they made do with resource and data packs as well as 29,470 command blocks. You can see the process in the video above.

C1OUS3R has made many other cool projects, including a Super Mario map in Minecraft. You can find out more on their YouTube channel.

It's always nice to see what players are capable of creating, especially when it's one game inside another.
