Twitter user @phantompainss recently shared photos on Twitter, showcasing their purchase of a PlayStation 5 console at their military base exchange. They posted 10 photos, which included images of the console's packaging, specifically the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III bundle. Among the photos was also a picture of the small plastic stand used to display the console horizontally.
According to Call of Duty account CharlieIntel, the Modern Warfare 3 console bundle is set to be released on November 10, and it will be priced at $499.99, which is the same as the standalone console's recommended retail price. This essentially means that the game will be bundled with the console at no additional cost.
The new PlayStation 5 model from Sony is slated to launch in November in the US, with a gradual rollout in other regions over the coming months. Both editions of the new model will come with 1TB storage.
A notable feature of the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition is that users will have the option to add a Blu-ray disc drive later, as it will be sold separately for $79.99/€119.99/£99.99. The new PS5 model will also include a horizontal stand, and a separate vertical stand, compatible with all PS5 models, will be available for purchase at $29.99/€29.99/£24.99.
