Polycam 3.0 Launched

The changes include cylinder crop, custom video loops, and a new Rotate tool.

3D scanning app Polycam got updated to version 3.0, introducing improvements to the Crop tool, camera controller, and video tool.

This release includes "a ground-up rewrite of all 3D tools", with a faster and more intuitive 3D crop box and the ability to crop to a cylinder.

The developers have improved camera controls and visualization of the video path. You can now make custom video loops and use a new Rotate tool.

Polycam is available online, on Google Play, and App Store. The free version includes unlimited LiDAR captures and 180 Photo Mode captures, while the Pro edition offers 150 Photo Mode captures per month, no watermarks, and the Building Plan tool for $7.99/month or $59.99/year.
