Thomas Frenkel shared a great Geometry Nodes tool.
Thomas Frenkel released Procedural Drainage Gutter System – a great tool for Blender made with Geometry Nodes.
As the name suggests, it creates pipes in two styles based on mesh line connections, which saves you a lot of time and effort. The resulting mesh comes with UV coordinates that can be used for texturing, according to the description.
The system works on mesh edges, not curves, "because the latter allows no branching." You can select a vertex and extrude it to editing the shape, which will give you a new edge. To add a point in between two points, select both vertices of the edge, right-click, and choose "Subdivide". "The newly created vertex is no corner and no endpoint. These are the pre-conditions for vertices to be viable as a drain. Those can be extruded downwards to create a drain."
The latest 1.1 update adds an optional square profile, geometry optimizations, an optional sharper edge profile, and more adjustable parameters in the modifier menu.
The file also contains 9 preview materials. The tool can be used together with the procedural roof generator made by Frenkel. Other projects on his Gumroad include a point-aware Resample Curve node, Text Addition Library for After Effects, and more.
