Procedural Tentacle FX Created with Houdini

An impressive work shared by Rahil Soni.

3D and VFX Artist Rahil Soni showcased this impressive setup with a tentacle effect made with Houdini.

The procedural setup uses a combination of multiple simulation systems, such as RBD Simulation, Debris Sourcing, Pyro Simulation, Tentacle System, and Vellum Sticky Constraints. The particularly remarkable feature is that you can simply draw a curve of any shape, and Houdini will automatically generate the destruction, debris, tentacles, and pyro around it, making the setup versatile and reusable.
