Minhaz Mehedi shared a great tool to make your scenes mesmerising.
Nothing can make a scene prettier than some water. Here is another great liquid-based tool that can streamline your 3D workflow.
The procedural wave generator for Blender by Minhaz Mehedi lets you control your ocean meeting the shore, complete with foam and nicely made ripples. This Geometry Nodes and system will help you set up wave cycles quickly and easily.
The creator used mainly shader nodes to complete the generator, which works both in EEVEE and Cycles. You can control:
- Spatial Offset: change the position where the wave ends
- Speed: speed of wave cycles
- Amplitude: how much distance the wave travels
- Roundness: general bulge
- Max height
- Angle: Z-axis rotation
- Temporal Offset: change the time value of the wave cycle
- Subdivision: more geometry
In addition, you can choose between the style of your waves thanks to the 5 procedural materials in the tool, making them realistic or anime-like and having them look like blood or lava.
