Take a look at the list of tools the SideFX team has used to create the Project Titan environment.
Following the release of a 6-part tutorial series that covers the cable-creation process for SideFX's Project Titan environment, the team behind the project also demonstrated the tools that were used to make this fantastic tech demo. According to the team, Project Titan has a wide range of tools that work inside the Unreal Editor using the Houdini Engine plug-in. "This procedural workflow makes it possible for a smaller team to quickly realize an impressive level of detail," commented SideFX.
In a short series of videos, the team has shown how pipes, billboards, fences, lamps, cloth, and foilage were made, how scaffolding and construction were set up, how VAT characters were created, and more. You can check out the demonstration videos below.
In case you missed it, Project Titan is a stunning in-house tech demo released by SideFX. The demo was designed to test Houdini's procedural workflows while creating a 3D environment that leverages the latest technologies in Unreal Engine 5. You can learn more about the project here.
