Unveiled at this year's SIGGRAPH, the Blender 4D Gaussian Splatting project, developed by Zhi Wang and 4DV.ai, offers real-time rendering of scenes featuring complex motion. It's now live on the Demo Files page, available to the Blender community, and demonstrating that Gaussian Splatting workflows can be integrated directly into Blender.
This Blender project includes two preconfigured scenes, Nunchucks and Cat, that showcase real-time 4D Gaussian Splatting within Blender, compatible with both Eevee and Cycles. Simply open the file in Blender 5.0, enable Render View, and enjoy.
