Realistic Japanese City Set Up in Virtual Reality with Unity

Sherman Waffle has demonstrated an amazing environment made with one of the artist's modular asset packs.

3D Environment and Prop Artist Sherman Waffle, known for creating high-quality Asian-style asset packs for Unity, has unveiled a cool-looking WIP Japanese city environment set up in virtual reality. Made with one of the artist's asset packs and spline meshes and powered by Unity, the eerie VR scene features distinctive buildings, signs, trees, roads, lampposts, and electrical cables that create a convincing image of a typical, albeit a bit empty, Japanese town. According to Sherman, the creator considers offering a public release of the VR demo once the project is complete.
