Also, the report mentions that the Remnant sequel generated over $66 million in net sales in the second quarter. The interim report states that Remnant 2, developed internally by Gunfire Games and published by Gearbox Publishing on July 25, has sold over 2 million units, resulting in net sales of more than SEK 700 million in Q2.

Speaking of the game, Remnant 2 takes players on a journey years after the events of the first game, as they explore Ward 13 and embark into the Labyrinth to put an end to the Root. The game introduces new worlds such as N'Erud, Losomn, and Dran, while also featuring a revamped version of Yaesha from the previous installment. Reviews on Steam have been very positive, highlighting the game's engaging experience.
In August, the game managed to generate over 1 million copies sold just one week after its release, Gearbox Publishing and Gunfire Games said that it became a commercial success. Even though Remnant 2 presented some good results, the wave of Embracer's restructuring covered Gearbox as well.
