There is also a "familiar, fully armed second playable character."

Resident Evil Requiem, the 9th mainline title of the famous horror series, which will be out on February 27, is still full of mystery. From the trailer, we know that it features Grace Ashcroft, a technical analyst, who is investigating a murder case. However, fans are dying to know how they will see the game.
Director Kōshi Nakanishi shared a brief message on YouTube, saying that RE9 will be a "first-person perspective horror," which disappointed many. However, this interpretation caused an uproar, with people saying it's a mistranslation, although some disagree.
Whatever the case, new information from a Reddit user called Nicky_Best claims that Requiem will feature both first- and third-person camera options. Nicky also posted several screenshots taken from Xboxera, which apparently posted a review of the game's demo a little too early and had to remove it.
"Demo was 30 minutes long , first person but was changed to third person during the demo, I think article said you could play the whole game in either view point," Nicky said.
While Grace is the protagonist, there were hints at a second playable character, a familiar face, "who would have a bunch of weapons." Of course, most players hope it's Leon, but there is no confirmation yet.
