Return to the World of The Lord of the Rings with This Mod Set in Middle-earth

The Dawnless Days, previously dubbed Rise of Mordor, a mod for Total War: Attila based on the Tolkien Legendarium, has been released in a beta version.

The mod is heavily inspired by The Lord of the Rings, mainly taking into account J.R.R. Tolkien's books, and is set in the time of the great wars of the final years of the main books. The mod was created with the goal of crafting a custom Lord of the Rings campaign, comprising the immense world of Middle-earth.

The Dawnless Days is still in the creation phase and, as of now, features a full War of the Ring campaign mode on a custom-made Middle-earth map. The future plans include introducing the Eriador area to the campaign, as well as adding more playable factions, and settlements from the LOTR world.
