Co-Founder of Rockstar Games and the creator of Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption Dan Houser has officially revealed Absurd Ventures, a new media company that will focus on creating new IPs "across all platforms and for all formats".
For those unaware, Absurd Ventures was first formed back in 2021, following Houser's departure from Rockstar Games in early 2020. Back then, the incorporation documents filed by Houser in the United Kingdom hinted that the new studio would focus on "computer games design and ready-made interactive leisure and entertainment software development".
After nearly two years after the news first broke out, the studio has been officially debuted, with a newly-launched website and an obscure trailer, attached above, accompanying the reveal.
"We are building Absurd Ventures to create new universes and to tell great stories, wherever and however we can," Houser said in a statement (via VGC).
