This is the first trailer for the game since 2016.
At Summer Game Fest 2022, Lunar Software revealed a new trailer for Routine – a first-person sci-fi horror game set on an abandoned lunar base.
Routine is designed around the 80s' vision of the future. Explore the lunar station until it all goes quiet and you have to outwit and outmaneuver a mysterious threat. The developers promise a gripping and atmospheric experience created by minimal UI. Upgrade your Cosmonaut Assistance Tool (C.A.T.), run, hide, or defend themselves from any threats that may appear.
Routine was first announced in 2013. Since then, the small team at Lunar Software has rebuilt the game from the ground up. You can compare the new trailer with the one released in 2016 to see how the team has improved.
The music for the game was created by Mick Gordon, who's worked on Doom, Prey, Wolfenstein: The New Order, and other awesome projects.
The game will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. The release date is not set yet, but you can wishlist it on Steam.
